YOUR IMPACT

Our Chief Credit Officer is crucial to the financial health of our bank, thoroughly reviewing information to strategically determine how to distribute loans. You will manage transaction approvals while following the proper procedures to screen new transactions for compliance, supervise the underwriting team to ensure accuracy, and present transactions to our board of directors and investment committee. You will also supervise our portfolio management team and collaborate with the CEO and CIO to oversee portfolio payment status, assign loan loss reserves, and issue waivers and credit determinations.

Working closely with our investment team, you will review loan documents and help negotiate with borrowers and other partners. You will prepare quarterly presentations and lead portfolio reviews to check the status of our finances and evaluate potential policy updates. Your ability to strategically evaluate and determine the risks associated with the borrower or industry helps ensure our bank makes informed financial choices!

YOUR HOURS

You have a standard schedule from 9:00 am - 5:00 pm, Monday - Friday.

REQUIREMENTS

• MBA or another advanced degree in a relevant field
• 10+ years of combined leadership experience in commercial banking, green banking, commercial credit management, investment or fund management, or another relevant area
• 5+ years of staff supervisory experience

While not required, our ideal Chief Credit Officer also meets these preferred criteria:

• Extensive knowledge of credit, finance, budgeting, real estate loan processing, and general accounting principles
• Collaboration skills with the ability to build strategic partnerships and leverage resources
• Track record of organization and self-motivation
• Experience financially managing an entity or a large program
• Verbal and written communication skills
• Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate qualitative and quantitative information
• Proficiency with software like Microsoft Office and Salesforce
