Role:

This role will build and lead the Intermediary and Institutional Sales to drive product sales through banks, direct institutional clients, and other channels to achieve sales and revenue targets. He/she will also be responsible for Life Business relationships and support the sales activities of the Life Business.

Key accountabilities:

Life Business relationship:

  • Responsible for Life Business relationship and support the sales activities of the Life Business.
  • Build a strong network and relationship with Life Business Clients, including their senior management team.
  • Responsible for services provided to Life Business Clients.

Business Development:

  • Establish institutional sales and solicit institutional investment management mandates from institutional clients (e.g., Pension Funds, Insurance Companies, and similar entities).
  • Business development on bank distribution and other channels including digital online.
  • Establish Investment Advisory and solicit mandates from clients.
  • Create awareness and build the brand as a preferred brand in the intermediary and institutional channels.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies on intermediary and institutional sales both on mutual funds and investment management mandates.
  • Identify opportunities, develop relationships, and create target banks, institutions, and other channels.
  • Build visibility and relationships with identified banks, institutions, and other channels.
  • Achieve the AUM target and number of investors for intermediary, institutional business, Life Business, and Investment Advisory.
  • Achieve revenue targets for intermediary, institutional business, Life Business, and Investment Advisory.
  • Build a strong network and relationship with all clients.
  • Build a strong service and meet service level agreements with both existing and prospective clients.

People Management:

  • Lead and monitor the productivity of the Distribution Team (Intermediary, Institutional Business, Life Business, and Investment Advisory) for achieving targets.
  • Ensure effective regular activities and strategic plans for the Distribution Team.
  • Ensure effective relationships between the Distribution team and other related departments.

Administrative:

  • Provide feedback to management on markets & competition.
  • Regularly provide performance reporting to every client.
