About the Role

The Company is seeking a Head of Excess and Surplus Lines to lead the division with a focus on innovation and market expertise. The successful candidate will be responsible for shaping the nonadmitted product and market strategies, providing expert guidance for product development and launch, and representing the company as an authority in the nonadmitted market. This role requires a leader who can partner with internal teams to engage in customer feedback, drive product innovations, and serve as the E&S representative in sales and renewal opportunities. The Head of Excess and Surplus Lines will also be expected to provide industry thought leadership and ensure that the product roadmap aligns with market needs.Applicants must have 10-25 years' of leadership experience in excess and surplus lines, underwriting, actuarial work, or insurance product development/management. A strong quantitative background and the ability to use data and analytics to solve market challenges are essential. The role demands a passionate individual with a strong business acumen, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels. The ideal candidate will be results-driven, with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding revenue expectations, and possess strong critical thinking, analytical problem-solving, and negotiating skills.
