The Company is seeking a Head of Swap Dealer Regulatory Reporting / Controller to establish and lead a team responsible for all financial reporting and regulatory requirements related to CFTC, with a focus on monitoring OTC derivative trade reporting. The successful candidate will be the primary contact for regulatory exams and will work closely with senior stakeholders across the business. This is a pivotal role in a new function at the firm, and the Head will be instrumental in building and managing the team. Key responsibilities include overseeing the month-end close, quarterly financial review, and annual audit of the swap dealer, as well as ensuring the design and implementation of robust controls for compliance with accounting standards and regulatory rules. The role also involves daily capital ratio calculation, preparation and filing of reports, and providing insights into balance sheet and capital management initiatives.Applicants for the Head of Swap Dealer Regulatory Reporting / Controller position at the company should have a minimum of 8 years experience, preferably from a Big 4 firm or within the financial industry with a focus on swap dealers. A strong understanding of derivatives and CFTC regulations is essential. The role requires the ability to coordinate with various teams to evaluate the impact of new products, initiatives, and regulatory guidance, and to advise and implement necessary processes and controls. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of establishing strong working relationships, providing leadership and direction to a team, and leading strategic and tactical finance projects. The Head will also be responsible for identifying knowledge gaps, providing training, and ensuring that the team is effectively utilizing their skills to maximize their contribution.
