Location: Hybrid (based at our offices in Parsippany, NJ 3 days per week)

Your Role: Reporting directly to the CFO, you'll lead financial planning, reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and risk management. This role goes beyond managing finances—you'll help shape OLI's financial future. We need someone who can anticipate market shifts and leverage them for growth, helping scale our operations and secure our position as an industry leader.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive Strategic Financial Leadership: Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with OLI's long-term goals. Provide proactive insights that leverage financial conditions for growth.
  • Lead Financial Operations and Reporting: Ensure timely, accurate financial statements and reports. Maintain compliance with accounting standards and internal policies, manage cash flow, financial modeling, and forecasting for sound decision-making.
  • Guide Budgeting and Forecasting: Oversee annual budgeting, collaborate with senior management, monitor performance, and maintain forecasts supporting strategic growth.
  • Proactively Manage Financial Risk: Identify potential financial risks and develop robust strategies to mitigate them. Regularly review internal controls and conduct ongoing risk assessments to minimize exposure and adjust tactics as needed.
  • Lead and Develop Your Team: Mentor and equip your team with the skills to meet challenges and drive innovation while fostering a high-performance culture.
  • Engage with Stakeholders: Communicate financial metrics to the executive team and board. Collaborate across departments, offering financial analysis to support organizational goals.
  • Uphold OLI's Values: Consistently demonstrate and promote OLI's core values in all interactions and decisions.
  • Foster Collaboration: Work effectively with colleagues across departments, cultivating respectful and cooperative working relationships.
  • Protect Sensitive Information: Safeguard confidential financial and organizational data.
  • We're Looking For:

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field; CPA/CFA is a plus.
  • 5-10 years of proven finance experience, ideal for a Finance Manager ready for a Head of Finance role, or a Director of Finance/team leader looking to build a finance team in a high-growth, well-capitalized organization.
  • Strong expertise in corporate finance, accounting, and financial analysis.
  • Proficiency in financial software (e.g., Netsuite, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar); accounting ERP implementation experience a plus.
  • Advanced financial modeling and data visualization skills.
