Responsibilities but not Limited to:
• HR Strategy and Planning:
O Develop and implement HR strategies, policies, and procedures that align with the company's objectives and promote a positive work culture.
o Collaborate with senior management to align HR strategies with business goals, anticipating HR needs and developing plans to address them.
• Talent Acquisition and Management:
o Oversee the recruitment and selection process to attract top talent, utilizing various sourcing channels and ensuring a diverse and inclusive workforce.
o Develop and implement effective onboarding programs to ensure new employees are integrated smoothly into the organization.
o Lead performance management initiatives, including goal setting, performance evaluations, and development plans.
• Employee Relations:
o Foster a positive and inclusive work environment, promoting employee engagement, satisfaction, and well-being.
o Handle employee relations matters, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and grievance procedures.
o Implement and administer employee recognition and reward programs.
• Training and Development:
o Identify training needs across the organization and develop training programs to enhance employee skills and capabilities.
o Facilitate professional development opportunities and mentorship programs for employees at all levels.
o Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in HR and recommend improvements to enhance HR programs and practices.
• Compensation and Benefits:
o Oversee the design and administration of competitive compensation and benefits programs, ensuring compliance with legal requirements and industry standards.
o Analyze market data to benchmark compensation and benefits packages and make recommendations to attract and retain top talent.
• Compliance and Reporting:
o Ensure compliance with relevant labor laws, regulations, and company policies.
o Prepare and submit HR reports and metrics to senior management, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
Requirements and Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (advanced degree preferred).
• Extensive experience in HR management, including experience in a leadership role.
• In-depth knowledge of HR principles, best practices, and applicable laws and regulations.
Strong understanding of the retail chain business. Background in Target is a big plus.
• Strong understanding of talent acquisition, performance management, employee relations, training and development, and compensation and benefits.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization.
• Proven leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse workforce.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
