Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership and Strategy:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive technology strategy that aligns with the company's business goals and digital transformation objectives.
- Lead and manage the IT team, including infrastructure, applications, security, and digital innovation functions.
- Collaborate closely with other senior leaders to drive technological advancements that support the company's vision and mission.
- Ensure the organization remains competitive by leveraging emerging technologies such as AI, blockchain, cloud services, and automation tools.
- Digital Transformation:
- Lead the digital transformation journey, transitioning from traditional IT to a more agile, cloud-based, and customer-centric technology environment.
- Drive the modernization of legacy systems, ensuring seamless integration with new digital solutions while maintaining business continuity.
- Oversee the development and implementation of digital products, including mobile applications, customer portals, and data-driven solutions.
- Ensure that the technology infrastructure is scalable, secure, and capable of supporting future business needs and innovations.
- IT Operations and Security:
- Oversee the daily management of IT operations, ensuring systems are reliable, scalable, and secure.
- Manage IT budgets, ensuring investments in technology are aligned with the business's short- and long-term needs.
- Implement robust cybersecurity protocols to protect customer data, ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, and mitigate risk.
- Drive operational efficiencies by optimizing processes, adopting automation, and improving the organization's use of data analytics.
- Stakeholder Management:
- Serve as a trusted advisor to the executive team, providing insights into technology trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Build strong partnerships with external vendors, consultants, and partners to deliver best-in-class technology solutions.
- Communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders, ensuring clear understanding and alignment on initiatives.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (Master's preferred).
- 10+ years of experience in IT leadership roles, preferably within the financial services industry.
- Proven experience leading digital transformation initiatives, including cloud adoption, data analytics, and automation.
- Strong understanding of traditional IT systems, infrastructure, and cybersecurity.
- Hands-on experience with financial services technology platforms, compliance frameworks, and regulatory requirements (e.g., PCI-DSS, GDPR, SOC 2).
