POSITION SUMMARY:

We are looking for a dedicated Head of Maintenance who will take pride in keeping vacation rental properties guest-ready.

What will your day be like?

In this full-time role, each shift will vary with new projects to tackle. Your day will start by logging in to our task management app, Breezeway, to access and complete tasks efficiently. You'll be relied on to ensure our homes are functional and welcoming by thoroughly checking off each task on the list, using your maintenance and time management skills.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• General Requirements
  • Use of Breezeway to properly schedule, document & track maintenancetasks
  • Communicate with Manager if vendor coordination is necessary
  • Build familiarity with all 20 homes
  • General understanding of billable & non-billable tasks
  • Complete tasks efficiently
• Preventative Maintenance/Recurring Tasks
  • Changing air filters on bi-weekly or monthly basis
  • Light landscaping
  • Blowing out driveway, kill weeds, etc.
  • Annual safety inspections
  • Hot tub cleaning, treating & maintenance
  • Hosing out trash bins
• As comes up basis
  • Resetting/unlocking elevators
  • Reinstalling toilet paper or towel holders
  • Storm preparation
  • Post-storm checks
  • Patch painting
  • Troubleshooting appliance issues
  • Change batteries & lightbulbs
  • Snake drains
  • Hanging rental & home signs
  • Assembling furniture
  • Meet vendors on-site

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Experience in property maintenance & vacation rentals
• Comfortable operating a mobile app to track tasks
• Experience installing hardware such as door locks and thermostats
• Create positive experiences in every interaction
• Ability to see projects through completion
• Must be highly responsive and reliable

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:

Salary: $45,000-$50,000 based on achievement and experience

Schedule:Labor day to Memorial day - Friday through Monday - 10am to 8pmOff-season - Monday through Friday - 9am to 5pm
