Position Summary

The Head of Marketing for JetBlue Travel Products (JTP) is passionate about creating a compelling brand story for a dynamic, startup-like subsidiary with very high growth aspirations. Building on the understanding of our customers and value proposition, they develop the marketing strategy to drive customer acquisition and implement conversion-driving strategies. They are a hands-on leader who will work cross functionally both within JTP, and more broadly across JetBlue Airways, TrueBlue loyalty program and future external partners, to identify opportunities to improveour customer experience, develop new offerings to expand our revenue streams, and drive new user adoption. The ideal candidate will report to the President JTP.

Essential Responsibilities

* Drive growth across all JTP products both from existing customers and new ones.

* Innovate, develop and grow the JTP product portfolio.

* Develop marketing and brand strategy and ensure consistent brand representation across all marketing and communication channels. i.e. web pages, email campaigns and promotions.

* Oversee production of all marketing materials and the development of all marketing initiatives which includes digital platforms, advertising channels, affiliate marketing, activations, and other channels.

* Develop brand and advertising Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and report on brand health and campaign performance.

* Oversee advertising agencies; negotiate contracts, review and assess performance, maintain productive and collaborative working relationships.

* Develop, track and monitor marketing and advertising expense budget, constantly optimizing for the highest return on investment (ROI).

* Evaluate customer data to measure the results and effectiveness of marketing initiatives such as growth in brand awareness among target markets and return on investment from specific campaigns.

* Identify, analyze and interpret trends or patterns in complex customer and product data sets.

* Build a collaborative partnership with the JTP Tech team to maximize product capabilities.

* Take a significant role in the leadership and development of crewmembers to support engagement, growth and goal achievement.

* Collaborate closely with the JTP Business Development team to properly market each product and support revenue-driving initiatives.

* Other complex projects and duties as assigned.

Minimum Experience and Qualifications

* Bachelor's Degree; OR demonstrated capability to perform job responsibilities with a combination of a High School Diploma/GED and at least four (4) years of previous relevant work experience.

* Seven (7) years of Commercial and/or Marketing experience with at least two (2) years in a senior management role.

* Highly experienced in building and developing teams.

* Strong conceptual thinking skills with an ability to problem solve, recommend solutions and intuitively prioritize business issues.

* Sharp analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, inform and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.

* Strong communication, negotiation and project management skills.

* Ability to build interdepartmental relationships across JTP and JetBlue.

* Experience building and managing a budget.

* Available for overnight travel (10%).

* Must pass a ten (10) year background check.

* Must be legally eligible to work in the country in which the position is located.

* Authorization to work in the US is required. This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.

Preferred Experience and Qualifications

* Track record of innovation and delivering business results.

* Experience in the travel & tourism industry.

* Experience with analytical tools.

Crewmember Expectations

* Regular attendance and punctuality.

* Potential need to work flexible hours and be available to respond on short-notice.

* Able to maintain a professional appearance.

* When working or traveling on JetBlue flights, and if time permits, all capable crewmembers are asked to assist with light cleaning of the aircraft.

* Must be an appropriate organizational fit for the JetBlue culture, that is, exhibit the JetBlue values of Safety, Caring, Integrity, Passion, and Fun.
