About The Role Tabs is seeking an experienced VP of Marketing to drive and lead our marketing strategy with a focus on B2B performance marketing. You'll be responsible for shaping and executing campaigns that drive customer acquisition, engagement, and revenue growth. Your leadership will be instrumental in positioning Tabs as the leading AI-driven Revenue Automation Platform, fostering our brand presence, and ensuring a seamless journey from prospect to loyal advocate. As the head of the marketing team, you'll collaborate closely with Sales, Product, and Customer Success to align marketing strategies with our business goals and deliver tangible results. What You'll Do
  • Own Marketing Strategy and Execution: Develop and lead a comprehensive B2B marketing strategy focused on demand generation, lead nurturing, and driving revenue growth. Utilize data-driven insights to optimize performance marketing campaigns across channels, including digital, content, ABM, email, and social media.
  • Build and Scale the Marketing Team: Establish a high-performing team and build scalable processes to support growth, from inbound marketing and SEO to paid advertising and customer advocacy programs. Hire, mentor, and develop marketing talent to drive success across all facets of the marketing function.
  • Drive Cross-Functional Alignment: Partner closely with Sales, Customer Success, Product, and Engineering to ensure alignment on messaging, positioning, and customer experience. Develop go-to-market strategies for new product features and customer segments, driving integrated campaigns that support pipeline generation and revenue growth.
  • Lead Performance Marketing and Analytics: Develop and implement performance marketing strategies, utilizing analytics to monitor campaign effectiveness, optimize lead funnels, and drive ROI. Own key KPIs like MQL to SQL conversion rates, cost per lead, customer acquisition cost (CAC), and customer lifetime value (CLTV).
  • Enhance Brand Positioning and Thought Leadership: Elevate Tabs' brand through compelling storytelling, thought leadership, and consistent messaging. Create high-impact content and events that resonate with our target audience, position Tabs as a category leader, and drive market awareness.
  • Drive Product Marketing and Enablement: Develop a deep understanding of our product, customer segments, and competitive landscape. Collaborate with Product and Sales to build compelling narratives, messaging frameworks, sales enablement materials, and positioning that differentiate Tabs in the market.
  • Customer Insights and Growth: Continuously gather and leverage customer insights to inform marketing strategies, improve product-market fit, and drive customer loyalty and expansion. Work closely with Customer Success to cultivate case studies, testimonials, and references that support upsell and cross-sell opportunities.
Who You Are: • 10+ years of B2B marketing experience, with a strong background in performance marketing, demand generation, and growth marketing within SaaS startups. Proven track record of driving pipeline, revenue, and customer growth. • A data-driven marketer who can analyze metrics, develop insights, and adapt quickly to optimize performance and ROI. • Strong experience in fintech or similar verticals, with a deep understanding of the office of the CFO, revenue operations, and familiarity with ERPs (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite). • Proven ability to build and scale marketing teams, create scalable processes, and drive cross-functional collaboration. • A strategic thinker with hands-on execution skills and an entrepreneurial mindset. • Exceptional communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to translate complex concepts into compelling narratives. • Proven track record of hitting and exceeding targets, including MQL, SQL, pipeline generation, and revenue growth. Note: This role is based in New York City, requiring 4-5 days a week in our Manhattan office.
