Job Description :

We are seeking an inspiring leader and results-driven media expert to sit at the forefront of our marketing efforts, driving strategic paid media thinking that elevates our brand presence, engages our target audience, and accelerates business growth. This role leads Paid Media Planning & Buying for our US Personal Bank (Credit Cards and Retail Bank), US Wealth and Enterprise Brand programs, and oversees key media channels such as video, paid search, affiliate marketing, social, display and out-of-home. This individual will collaborate closely with a multitude of teams across Citi to develop integrated campaign strategies, including creative, ad tech, product, analytics & insights, acquisitions, sponsorships, martech and program management, among others.

The Media team at Citi is a critical area of focus and growth for the Citi Marketing organization. The group is responsible for transforming our media capabilities, investment and measurement, while delivering positive return on marketing investment and future-proofing our business. Key responsibilities include:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive paid media strategies across various platforms in partnership with agency partners.
  • Plan, launch, monitor, and optimize paid media campaigns to maximize ROI and deliver KPIs.
  • Conduct in-depth audience targeting to ensure precision and impact with key audiences.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in paid media and digital advertising to continuously innovate and enhance campaign performance.
  • Monitor and analyze campaign performance metrics, providing regular reports and actionable insights to optimize strategies, budgets, and tactics.
  • Manage relationships with external agencies, vendors, and platform partners to leverage their expertise and resources for campaign execution and optimization.
  • Utilize a combination of technology and negotiation skills to unlock maximum value from budget.

Qualifications for this role:

  • 15+ years of experience in media or advertising on agency and/or client side, including 10+ years of managerial experience.
  • A proven leader with a track record for motivating teams and maximizing team output through coaching, support, and empowerment.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, Business Administration, or a related field. Advanced degree or certifications a plus.
  • Proven track record of success in planning, implementing, and optimizing paid media campaigns in a fast-paced environment, preferably within the financial services industry.
  • Deep understanding of digital advertising platforms, tools, and technologies, with hands-on experience in campaign setup, optimization, and performance analysis.
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data-driven decision-making, with the ability to translate complex metrics and insights into actionable recommendations.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with cross-functional teams and external partners.
  • Detail-oriented with strong project management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.

Primary Location Full Time Salary Range: $170,000.00 - $300,000.00
