About Us:Proof and Gather is a beloved bakery in San Luis Obispo County specializing in artisan sourdough breads, scones, cookies, muffins, cinnamon rolls, and a full-service espresso bar. We are seeking a motivated and dynamic Head of Outside Sales & Fulfillment to help us expand our footprint and grow relationships with local businesses, events, and retail partners.

Position Overview:The Head of Outside Sales will play a key role in driving revenue growth by identifying and securing new business opportunities for Proof and Gather's products. This individual will develop and manage wholesale accounts, build relationships with retail and event partners, and represent the Proof and Gather brand in the community.

Responsibilities:

• Business Development:Identify and cultivate new sales opportunities with local cafes, restaurants, grocery stores, and other retail outlets.Develop and execute a strategic plan to expand wholesale, catering, and event sales.Represent Proof and Gather at Community Events & Farmers Markets.
• Account Management:Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with wholesale clients and partners.Act as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring excellent customer service and satisfaction.Collaborate with clients to customize orders and create solutions tailored to their needs.
• Sales Strategy and Execution:Set and achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.Maintain accurate records of sales activities, forecasts, and client interactions.Work closely with the bakery's production team to ensure accurate and timely delivery of orders.
• Brand Representation:Serve as an ambassador for Proof and Gather, promoting our commitment to quality and craftsmanship.Educate prospective clients on the unique qualities of our products, including our artisan baking processes and premium ingredients.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in outside sales, business development, or account management, preferably in the food and beverage industry.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a talent for building relationships.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple accounts and projects.
• Self-motivated and results-driven, with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
• Familiarity with San Luis Obispo County and its local businesses is a plus.
• Passion for high-quality food and beverages, particularly baked goods and coffee.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for client visits and community events.
