As the Head of People Services, US, you will lead a team to deliver accurate payroll to 6,000 employees and manage payroll tax, delivery services and benefits administration. In addition to a focus on customer service, you will maintain timely and effective governance and controls.

You will embed a framework for the resolution of issues in partnership with the Service Owners, Service Recipients or global contacts, as required. As our Head of People Services, US you will:

  • Review processes end-to-end within HR People Services to streamline
  • Simplify and automate to deliver continuous process improvement, measured by increases in the net promoter score and improved operational metrics.
  • Oversee services provided by HSBC's offshore utility and third-party vendors and will collaborate closely with the Global Service Owner (GSO) and market stakeholders.
  • Coach, develop and guide each team member to reach their full potential and maintain a positive and productive team environment.

For this role, HSBC targets a pay range between $150,000.00 and $215,000.00 The final fixed pay offer will depend on the candidate and a number of variables, including but not limited to, role responsibilities, skill set, depth of experience and education, licensing/certification requirements, internal relativity, and specific work location.

Requirements

You´ll likely have the following qualifications to succeed in this role:

  • Extensive Payroll and HR operations management knowledge and experience
  • Well-developed leadership, people development, and coaching skills
  • A passionate focus on the customer and end-to-end process reengineering experience
  • Proven experience with SAP Success Factors/ECPY is strongly desired
  • Demonstrated experience in partnering with offshore shared service operations and third-party vendors
  • Ability to work and lead in a hybrid environment and within the matrix
