Job Description :

About the Company

Animal Dermatology Group, Inc. (ADG) is the largest veterinary dermatology specialty company in the country offering a full range of animal healthcare services including immunotherapy, dermatopathology, advance diagnostics, laser surgery and other state-of-the-art veterinary dermatology care. Veterinary dermatology represents an important segment of the animal healthcare ecosystem as skin conditions consistently rate as the top reasons pet owners seek care (22% of all dog visits to veterinarians are related to skin allergies). Veterinary dermatologists focus on difficult, often chronic conditions, defining the underlining causes and formulating a treatment plan to maintain a high quality of life for their patients.

Founded in 1980, ADG hospitals operate under the name Animal Dermatology Clinic and are recognized as a national leader in innovative veterinary dermatology. Based in Irvine, California, ADG employs approximately 425 animal healthcare professionals, including over 100 doctors focused on the specialty of veterinary dermatology, with 60+ primary and satellite clinics in 18 states across the country (CA, OR, WA, HI, NV, KY, IN, TX, NY, NJ, GA, FL, MD, NC, SC, OH, TN, VA) with added international presence in Australia. ADG also administers the largest U.S. Dermatology Residency Training Program qualified by the American College of Veterinary Dermatology, supporting the development of future dermatologists through comprehensive training and research.

In addition to ADG's network of Animal Dermatology Clinics, ADG also operates two complementary divisions within the segment: Animal Immunotherapy Services (developing immunotherapy formulations for pet owners and general practice veterinarians) and Animal Dermatopathology Services (specialized services for expert interpretation of skin biopsies).

In December 2021, Percheron Capital, a private equity firm focused on partnering with high-quality essential service businesses, invested in ADG. Within this partnership, ADG expects to build on its momentum and realize significant growth over the coming years as the increasing demand for high-quality, veterinary outpatient specialty services (dermatology, dentistry, ophthalmology, oncology, internal medicine, etc.) grows alongside meaningful industry tailwinds, including surging pet ownership. ADG is in an aggressive growth mode and actively seeking strategic acquisitions and recruitment of doctors within the veterinary specialty outpatient space.
