Head of School - SF Kids Academy : Job Details

We are opening a new K - 5th Grade private elementary school for the 2025-2026 school year and are looking for a Head of School. We are looking for someone experienced, organized, flexible, hard-working, reliable, responsible, and truly committed to elementary education.

REQUIRED:

• School startup experience
• Elementary school teaching experience
• School leadership experience
• Master's or higher degree
• Familiar with best practices and principles of elementary education in California
• Fully vaccinated
• Criminal background clearance

DUTIES WILL INCLUDE:

• All aspects of starting up a new school - marketing, admissions, planning, purchasing, setting up systems, hiring, etc.
• Payroll
• Accounting (tuition, application fees, deposits, tracking purchasing and other expenditures)
• Supervision and guidance of all school staff
• Typical HR functions
• Plant maintenance
• Ensuring the educational goals of the program are being met
• Accountable for the safety and well-being of all children and staff on site
• Ensuring smooth and safe daily operations

Salary: Annual, competitive, based on experience, include benefits (medical, dental, vision, 401K, paid time off).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00 - $141,975.00 per year
