Overview:

Radon Medical Imaging is a world-class distributor of industry leading radiology equipment, a trusted independent medical device service provider specializing in multi-vendor service and asset management, and a leader in refurbishing high-end radiology equipment. We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Sr. Director/Vice President of Service Parts & Supply Chain Management to lead and optimize our supply chain operations, focusing on procurement, repair and distribution of service parts to our regional service teams. This critical role will ensure operational excellence, drive strategic initiatives, and enhance customer satisfaction by improving inventory management, logistics, procurement, and supplier relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership:

Develop and implement a comprehensive supply chain and service parts strategy that aligns with business objectives, improves operational efficiency, and supports company growth.

Supply Chain Optimization:

Oversee end-to-end supply chain operations, including demand forecasting, procurement, warehousing, harvesting and repair operations, inventory control, logistics, and distribution to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of parts and equipment.

Inventory Management:

Demand-based master inventory planning including assessment and analysis of medical device assets under contract, historical part usage, critical part and lead-time analysis and optimization.

Parts Management:

Manage the full lifecycle of service parts, including planning, sourcing, stocking, and reverse logistics, to ensure availability and reduce downtime for customers' medical devices.

Warehouse and Master inventory management

Oversee the management of multiple warehouse operations and stocking locations including: Consigned OEM parts, used / resale equipment process, inventory valuation and stocking process, RMA process and returned parts management.

Vendor & Supplier Relationships:

Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and OEMs, negotiating contracts and ensuring consistent delivery of high-quality parts and materials. Establish key partnerships to drive cost savings and secure long-term supply chain sustainability.

Operational Efficiency & Continuous Improvement:

Implement lean and Six Sigma methodologies to drive continuous improvement and operational excellence. Leverage technology and data analytics to enhance decision-making and streamline supply chain processes.

Compliance & Risk Management:

Ensure compliance with regulatory and quality standards within the medical device industry. Manage supply chain risks by proactively addressing disruptions and ensuring business continuity.

Customer Focus & Service Excellence:

Work closely with the service and sales teams to understand customer needs, ensuring the supply chain is responsive to field service requirements and enhancing overall customer satisfaction.

Qualifications:

  • Matrixed Leadership: Proven success in leading supply chain and service parts functions within a matrixed structure, driving alignment across teams to boost service quality and efficiency.
  • Strategic Function Development: Skilled in crafting and executing supply chain strategies that support business growth, streamline inventory, and optimize service parts processes.
  • Supply Chain & Service Parts Expertise: 10+ years of experience in senior roles, with a record of reducing costs and improving delivery through strategic sourcing and inventory control.
  • Customer Focused: Deep understanding of customer needs in the medical device field, with a focus on high parts availability and reduced equipment downtime.
  • Data-Driven & Tech-Savvy: Proficient with ERP, analytics, and supply chain technology, enabling data-driven decisions and process optimization.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Knowledgeable in regulated industry standards, with a proactive approach to compliance and risk management.
