Head of Small Business Sales Channel Strategy

Meta's Small & Medium Business Group (SMBG) is looking for a seasoned strategic leader to head our Small Business Channel Strategy Team. SMBG contributes directly to Meta's mission by connecting small businesses around the world with their customers on Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp and Messenger, and then helping them grow by adopting monetization solutions like advertising, messaging, commerce and many other tools. We are seeking a leader who is a proven influencer capable of running a multi-billion dollar business. This person will be a resilient self-starter, comfortable evolving a complex, scaled operation in a fast-moving and ambiguous environment. The role requires the ideal candidate to be a strategic and operational leader with a proven track record in driving sales or revenue outcomes, and aligning cross functional partners and product teams. Success requires inspirational team leadership capabilities, experience working in a matrixed global organization and proven expertise driving change in a hyper growth environment.

Responsibilities
  • Establish data-backed intra-channel segmentation and service level strategies that maximize returns for small businesses and revenue for Meta.
  • Oversee the governance of key cross-tier components of our business including book of business design and sales treatment development.
  • Identify highest leverage opportunities and run pilots that will advance our long-term business strategy and reflect the omnichannel, AI-driven business transformation underway.
  • Partner with key cross-functional teams (Product, Channel Marketing, Operations) to implement new programs or initiatives.
  • Analyze data and metrics to inform business decisions and drive results.
  • Build and manage a team of Channel Strategists.
  • Minimum Qualifications
  • 12+ years of experience in consulting or strategy roles at large-scale organizations.
  • Experience being an influential strategist and leader, as well as experience setting, communicating, and leading visions with stakeholders.
  • 4+ years of effective management experience leading teams towards a common goal with a high bar for execution.
  • Change agent. Experience leading initiatives involving large-scaled organizational transformations.
  • Demonstrated experience being an expert communicator. Distill complex ideas simply through a variety of mediums.
  • Proven business analytics skills. Experience evaluating data to understand trends, developing frameworks, and performing analyses to guide strategy and implementation.
  • Operations expertise. Experience spearheading and evolving operational strategy and execution in a hyper dynamic environment.
  • Preferred Qualifications
  • MBA or Master's degree in management, finance, technical, or engineering field, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience working in a management consultancy firm.
  • Compensation: $184,000/year to $254,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits.

    Individual compensation is determined by skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Compensation details listed in this posting reflect the base hourly rate, monthly rate, or annual salary only, and do not include bonus, equity or sales incentives, if applicable.
