We are seeking an experienced and strategic Head of Paid Media, Programmatic and Social to join our Digital Marketing Team. This key leadership role will collaborate with our internal media team and external media agency to design and execute innovative media plans and partnerships. This position will lead our programmatic, mid-funnel, and social media team members while shaping the evolution of our go-to-market media strategy.

The Head of Paid Media, Programmatic and Social will work closely with cross-functional teams, including Loyalty, Engagement, Analytics & Personalization, Creative, National & Local Marketing, and Go-To-Market, to ensure the seamless integration of messaging, audience targeting, and measurement across channels. The ideal candidate will bring subject matter expertise and thought leadership in programmatic media, digital, social, TV/CTV, and audio to drive innovation and growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Media Strategy Development: Partner with internal paid media teams and external media agencies to develop and implement media strategies that drive business results.
  • Performance Measurement: Track and report on the performance of media campaigns across various channels, evaluate measurement tools and methodologies, and recommend enhancements.
  • Team Leadership: Support and guide the media team in managing agency relationships and coordinating with line of business contacts for seamless integrated paid media planning and execution.
  • Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, serving as the primary point of contact for media initiatives.
  • Strategic Presentations: Present strategies, performance analyses, and key learnings to senior leadership and relevant stakeholders.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative approach to build rapport and drive desired outcomes.
  • Problem Solving: Apply a solutions-oriented mindset to identify and propose data-driven solutions.
  • Adaptability: Thrive in ambiguity and develop actionable plans based on available data.
  • Innovation and Growth: Initiate new approaches to market planning, research, and predictive ROI, followed by execution and evaluation.
  • Other Duties: Perform additional responsibilities as needed to support the growth and transformation of our media strategy.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Minimum of 8+ years in paid media, with experience at a media agency or on an in-house media team.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or journalism from an accredited institution. A combination of education and experience may be considered.
  • Skills and Knowledge:
  • Deep understanding of paid media channels, including programmatic display and video, social media, TV/CTV, audio, content marketing, affiliate marketing, and emerging platforms.
  • A blend of agency and client-side experience is highly preferred.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong collaborative, creative, and adaptable work style.
