For more than 20 years, Council Advisors has partnered with high-performing companies, investors, and non-profits to help leaders tackle their toughest challenges and make the most of their biggest opportunities.The RoleThe Head of Talent role at TMG is a new role focused on scaling and building capability in a growth-focused, established professional services business. As a key leader at TMG, the Head of Talent will design and drive TMG's people strategy to capture the full market opportunity. The role will focus on acquiring and developing best-in-class talent that spans across client development and service delivery within the context of TMG's business strategy, designed to deliver on the organization's employee value proposition. This role is preferably based out of our NYC Headquarters with a hybrid schedule.Key Responsibilities
  • Executive Recruiting and Onboarding: Play the lead executive recruiting role for TMG, developing and implementing a recruitment strategy that aligns with the company's high-growth goals, including a clear process for identifying, sourcing, and attracting top talent at senior levels.
  • Talent Development: Design a talent development framework that includes pathways and leadership development to support growth and retention.
  • Talent Analytics: Establish a data-driven talent analytics dashboard for recruitment, onboarding, and development to optimize organization development strategies.
  • Employee Engagement and Retention: Develop and implement strategies to enhance employee engagement and improve retention across the organization.
  • Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) Strategy: Drive the development and execution of TMG's DEI initiatives within the recruitment, talent development, and retention strategies.Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Deep experience in executive recruitment, particularly at senior levels (C-suite, Managing Directors, etc.).
  • Expertise in developing robust onboarding strategies.
  • Experience designing and implementing leadership development programs.
  • Ability to align HR initiatives with overall business goals and strategies.
  • Proficiency in establishing and leveraging HR metrics and analytics dashboards.
  • Experience in leading change management initiatives.
  • Proven experience in optimizing and communicating an organization's EVP.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, or a related field is required.
  • At least 10+ years of progressive HR experience.TMG provides a competitive base salary, benefits, and bonus package for our employees and new joiners. A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for new joiners for this role is $230,000 - $270,000.
