ACI has employees nationwide specializing in healthcare, information technology and national security.ACI currently provides staff to state and Federal government agencies in classified and non-classified positions and health care staffing.DescriptionPosition OverviewMedical Assistants Perform Routine Administrative And Clinical Tasks To Keep The Offices And Clinics Of Physicians, Podiatrists, Chiropractors, And Optometrists Running Smoothly. Tasks May Include

• Reception, answer phone, appointment scheduling, greet patients, completed intake forms, give instructions
• Handle record keeping, accounting and correspondence
• Perform computer applications for patient billing, transcription, scheduling, insurance claims, accounts receivable and others.
• Process, code and complete insurance claim forms
• Stock and maintain supplies and equipment

Essential Job Functions

• Interact with patients, general public and medical personnel in a professional and courteous manner
• Maintain confidentiality of client information as outlined in HIPAA guidelines
• Practice all OSHA safety standards including disposal of biohazard waste
• Assist in health treatment
• Monitor clinic and patient flow and triage patients for urgent appointments/consultation as needed
• Document problems and report critical issues as they occur
• Assist as a medical scribe

• Must have and maintain a current CPR certification
• Must be immunized for defined illnesses and diseases
