Health and Safety Specialist

We are seeking a Health and Safety Specialist dedicated to protecting employees and ensuring compliance with critical safety standards. In this role, you will play a vital part in implementing effective safety programs and cultivating a workplace culture where safety is a priority.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and maintain safety programs that reduce risks and ensure compliance with California OSHA and industry regulations
• Conduct safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments to identify hazards and recommend corrective actions.
• Deliver clear and effective safety training to employees at all levels
• Stay informed on evolving safety regulations and integrate updates into existing processes.
• Serve as a subject matter expert, providing guidance on compliance and fostering a proactive safety mindset.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety, Industrial Hygiene, or related field
• 5+ years of experience in industrial safety or safety management
• Strong knowledge of California OSHA regulations and industrial safety standards
• Safety certifications are a PLUS!
