POSITION SUMMARY: Perform the duties required to manage the front desk operations in the service area/health center. Provide excellent service to patients and visitors by answering phones, providing clinic information, scheduling exit appointments and referrals to specialty clinics. Monitor patientflow and assist with patient requests, problems, and concerns. Assist with tracking and data collection.Education: High School graduate or equivalent.Experience: One (1) year experience as a Receptionist in a doctor's office, clinic, or similar setting.Skills and Abilities:Enthusiastic, friendly, discreet, and professional.Excellent customer relation skills.Excellent oral and written communication skills.Good computer skills including the use of word processing and e-mail software.Ability to multitask and work cohesively in a fast-paced office environment.License(s)/Certification(s) Required: CPR Certification Required.Essential Functions:Answers telephone calls in a professional and timely manner. Directs calls to the appropriate party and/or takes clear and concise messages.Schedules client appointments to departments within the clinic.Makes sure that unscheduled patient information is in the pod for clinician use.Provides clients with information regarding clinic services.Assists with coordination of client referrals.Performs interpretative services as required.Assists clinic staff by faxing and receiving incoming information, distributing mail, and providing back-up support to Receptionist as required.Performs other duties as required.#J-18808-Ljbffr
