The Health Education Assistant, reporting to a Health Educator or program manager/supervisor, is responsible for assisting with a program's education and community activities. In that role, the incumbent assists in assessing, planning and organizing health education/promotion activities. Responsibilities include assisting in developing and reviewing health education/promotion materials, contacting clients to provide health education, conducting community and individual outreach activities, and may include assisting medical professionals in conducting height and weight checks.
