Provides nursing, psychiatric and personal care to mentally ill forensic patients. Encourages residents to develop work skills and to participate in social, recreational and other therapeutic activities that enhance interpersonal skills and develop social and therapeutic relationships. Also supervises residents on approved outings, Responsible for documenting information regarding patient care and behavior. Performs related duties as required. Mandatory overtime is an essential function of this position. Applicants selected must successfully complete a chemical urinalysis and a breath analysis drug screening test.
