Job SummaryWoodstock Terrace, located in beautiful Woodstock Vermont, is seeking a Director of Nursing to play an integral role in the success of our Assisted Living and Memory Care community, overseeing the care of our residents.The Health Services Administrator plays a critical role in overseeing the operations of healthcare facilities, ensuring that they provide high-quality services while adhering to regulatory standards. This position requires strong leadership skills, a comprehensive understanding of healthcare management, and the ability to effectively manage budgets and resources. The ideal candidate will have experience in home health and hospice care, as well as familiarity with medical records and terminology and the ability to manage nursing staff effectively. The ideal candidate will be dedicated to upholding resident rights and fostering a supportive environment for both patients and staff.Our unique community is built around the idea of making a difference in the lives of our residents through top-notch care and meaningful life enrichment. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years experience as an LPN or Registered Nurse, as well as management experience. A background in senior living and experience with Memory Care are preferred.DutiesManage daily operations of healthcare services, ensuring compliance with regulations and standards.Oversee budgeting processes, including financial planning and resource allocation.Coordinate home health and hospice care services to meet patient needs effectively.Maintain accurate medical records and ensure confidentiality in accordance with legal requirements.Collaborate with healthcare professionals to improve patient care and service delivery.Utilize knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology to enhance communication within the team.Implement policies and procedures that promote quality care in acute and critical care settings.Conduct regular assessments of service delivery to identify areas for improvement.RequirementsProven experience in healthcare administration or a related field.Strong budgeting skills with the ability to manage financial resources efficiently.Knowledge of Medicare regulations and compliance requirements.Familiarity with home health and hospice care practices.Proficiency in managing medical records systems.Solid understanding of anatomy and medical terminology.Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams in a fast-paced environment.LPN or RN License in Vermont required.Job Type: Full-timePay: From $77,000.00 per yearBenefits:Dental insuranceHealth insuranceLife insurancePaid time offVision insuranceSchedule:Monday to FridayOn callWeekends as neededWork Location: In person#J-18808-Ljbffr
