Health Unit Coordinator (HUC) - Nights - HealthPartners : Job Details

We are seeking a Health Unit Coordinator to join our Acute Care team! This benefits eligible position will work nights which includes every third weekend (Friday, Saturday, Sunday) from 6:00 pm 6:30 am for a total of 4 days every two weeks (48 hours). Health Unit Coordinators are very important members of our patient-care team. Responsibilities include greeting all patients and family members at the nurses station, answering patient intercom calls, assisting with patient discharge, performing order transcription, taking physician orders and performing chart maintenance. Job Summary: The Health Unit Coordinator works with our nursing team and provides clerical support and customer service through a variety of designated functions and responsibilities to professional staff, patients and visiting community members.
