Overview:
This training is an introductory course designed to fast-track students into the healthcare field. You may begin this class with little to no experience in healthcare. This training requires a minimum full-time commitment of five (5) weeks. It combines 75 hours of classroom instruction with 100 hours of hands-on clinical practice. This program satisfies the requirement of the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services for Unlicensed Assistive Personnel (UAP).
Participants must reside within one of the 29 Southeast Missouri counties listed below:Bollinger, Butler, Cape Girardeau, Carter, Crawford, Dent, Douglas, Dunklin, Howell, Iron, Madison, Mississippi, New Madrid, Oregon, Ozark, Pemiscot, Perry, Phelps,Reynolds, Ripley, Scott, Shannon, Ste. Genevieve, St. Francois, Stoddard, Texas, Washington, Wayne, or Wright
