A successful Hearing Instrument Specialist is highly motivated and organized, can work independently and with a team, and demonstrates the ability to maintain and continue building relationships with patients and team members.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct hearing evaluations and diagnostic tests.
• Fit and dispense hearing aids and other assistive devices.
• Provide ongoing patient support, counseling, and education on hearing aid use and maintenance.
• Perform follow-up care and adjustments as needed.
• Adhere strictly to hearing healthcare best practices.

Requirements

• Current license to dispense hearing instruments (HIS or BC-HIS)
• Ability to work independently and with a team.
• Excellent people, organizational, and communication skills
• Outstanding problem-solving abilities
