Join our global team of 19,000 people in 45 countries, and start helping our customers push the limits of what's possible in their world of motion.Position Summary: Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and complete rebuilds of furnaces and shot-blast equipment in the Heat Treat Department.Essential Responsibilities:
  • Maintain and rebuild oil pumps and heat exchangers on quenching systems.
  • Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on furnaces, quench oil systems, hoist, and auxiliary equipment.
  • Keep machinery and equipment in efficient operating condition.
  • Perform duties such as dismantling, moving, crating, and/or uncrating, and installing machines, conveyors, hoists, tracks, and other equipment.
  • Use various machine rigging equipment to aid in moving machines and equipment.
  • Use wrenches, hammers, drills, power saws, and other miscellaneous hand and power tools to erect, dismantle, or crate machines, install new or replacement parts, and perform general building maintenance and construction work.
  • Must have essential welding experience - Arc, Mig, Tig, and brazing.
  • Must be able to use a cutting torch efficiently.
  • Use measuring devices such as squares, micrometers, calipers, levels, and plumb bobs to erect machine foundations and install machines and equipment in the correct position.
  • Rig, move, install, and repair large, complicated equipment requiring extreme accuracy to align correctly.
  • Work from prints, drawings, and specifications furnished by the equipment manufacturer or the Engineering Department.
  • Work as directed by maintenance supervision.
  • Work in all plant areas to perform mechanical work on machine tools, furnaces, plant auxiliary equipment, and the general building.
  • Perform fabrication, including welding, metalworking, and pipe fitting.
Basic Qualifications:
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Must be eligible to work in the US.
  • Must be willing to work overtime.
  • Must be willing to work any shift.
  • Associate's degree in Industrial Maintenance or other mechanical repair field, equivalent military training, or 2 yrs. of work experience in millwright or related field.
  • Must be willing to work any shift or department and perform mechanical maintenance on furnaces, carburizes, machine tools, and other equipment.
  • Must be able to use shop math, read blueprints & drawings, and use precision measuring tools.
  • Must have knowledge and experience in fabricating welded metal and pipe fittings.
  • Must be able to lift up to 35 pounds.
  • Must be able to work in confined spaces and awkward positions.
