Job Location : Corcoran,CA, USA
Essential Functions
* Oversee supervision of job site QC activities and scheduling QA technicians to perform their tasks according to QC daily plan (POT)and reviewing report/test records.Perform field audits randomly to verify Quality Control activities and monitor in-process production by confirming specifications and the contract requirements.
* Audit the approval process in-process production by confirming specifications; conducting visual and measurement tests; communicating required adjustments to Construction responsible.
* Audit the approval process of finished products by confirming specifications; conducting visual and measurement tests; returning products for re-work; confirming re-work.
* Documents inspection and audits results by completing reports and logs; summarizing re-work and waste; inputting data into a quality database.
* Reviews processes, practices, and procedures and identify possible areas for change to improve the quality of the resulting work. Reviews QA/QC documentation to ensure the adequacy of systems and performs project testing (requirements, procedures, and documentation) quarterly.
* Accomplishes quality and organization mission by completing related results as needed.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
* Knowledge of quality inspection standards, procedures, and applicable codes.
* The ability to freely access all points of the construction site in wide-ranging climates and environments.
* Skill in the use of Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
* Ability to effectively communicate with coworkers.
* Ability to work independently and as a team member.
* Ability to work in a fast paced, high volume work environment.
* Ability to work weekends, holidays, and on-call as needed.
Qualifications
* Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering field or Construction Management.
* 3-5 Years related experience in Construction and Road/Bridge inspections
Preferred
* 8+ years of relevant experience or demonstrated in Heavy Civil Construction.
Annual Salary - $95,000 - $110,000
(Actual compensation is subject to variation due to such factors as education, experience, skillset)
