Job Summary The Parts Specialist plays a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation of our Parts department. This position involves managing inventory, sourcing parts, and providing exceptional customer service to both internal teams and clients. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in Heavy Truck parts and inventory management, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to accuracy.Duties Manage and maintain accurate inventory records to ensure optimal stock levels of diesel parts. Source and procure parts from suppliers, negotiating terms to secure the best prices and delivery times. Assist in the identification of parts needed for repairs and maintenance, utilizing diesel diagnostics knowledge. Perform data entry tasks related to inventory management and procurement processes. Collaborate with technicians and service advisors to ensure timely availability of required parts. Oversee warehouse management practices, ensuring proper organization and storage of parts. Provide support in repair processes by sourcing necessary components. Maintain relationships with suppliers, addressing any issues related to part quality or delivery. SkillsStrong knowledge of Diesel service practices and procedures. Proficiency in inventory management systems and data entry skills. Experience in procurement management, including sourcing and supplier management. Ability to perform heavy truck diagnostics to identify necessary parts for repairs.
