Heavy Equipment Mechanic, Lead:Rockmart Slate has an opening for a Lead Mechanic for heavy industrial equipment. This position requires at least two years of college or technical study. This is a full time position located at our Main facility in Rockmart Georgia.The candidate must be able to repair and maintain all makes of heavy equipment including Komatsu, CAT, Kobelco, Volvo, Finlay, TEREX, Toyota, SANDVIK, HYSTER, NORTON, NORDBERG, and others. A successful candidate must have the ability and the training to service. maintain, and repair, all brands of rolling stock, crushers, screens, wash plants, forklifts, and other industrial equipment used in mining. This is a lead position and the candidate must be able to manage subordinate employees.The candidate must have a laptop computer and the required software to diagnose and troubleshoot systems on machines and equipment in the field.This is a full time position. The pay range for this position is between 70k and 100k annually.
