Job Description :

**SWP Contracting LLC** is searching for an experienced Heavy Equipment Mechanic to support our civil construction projects in near Roosevelt Lake, AZ.

**RESPONSIBILITIES:**

+ Analyze malfunctions and repair, rebuild and maintain power equipment, such as power shovels, scrapers, paving machines, motor graders, trench-digging machines, excavators, bulldozers, dredges, backhoes, compressors and pneumatic tools.

+ Operate and inspect machines or equipment to diagnose defects, dismantles and reassembles equipment.

+ Ensuring that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times

+ Perform services and repairs from basic preventative maintenance inspections and troubleshooting, all the way up to brake work, suspension and drive-line repairs on medium and heavy duty trucks and trailers.

+ Accurately record time, parts, and inspection checklists

+ Performing routine physical labor duties and help keep the workplace clean and safe

**QUALIFICATIONS:**

+ 3 years of heavy equipment mechanics and maintenance experience

+ Ability to clear a background check, drug test, and MVR

+ Ability to travel to various job sites in Arizona.
