You will be responsible for operating a variety of heavy machinery to execute grading, excavation, and other critical tasks on construction projects.   • Safely operate a variety of heavy machinery, including excavators, dozers, backhoes, skid steers, skip loaders, wheel loaders, and motor graders.
  • Perform daily inspections and minor repairs on equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation.
  • Utilize GPS, base, and rover systems to accurately interpret grading plans and manage elevations.
  • Work with grading and trench teams to ensure precise cuts, fills, and installation of pipes.
  • Follow all safety procedures and regulations to maintain a safe work environment, prioritizing the well-being of yourself and your team.
  • Execute mass grading and trenching, paying close attention to underground utilities such as wires and pipes.
  • Collaborate with landscaping teams for grading tasks related to site preparation and project completion.
  • Complete project tasks efficiently while maintaining high-quality standards and meeting project deadlines.
The ideal candidate should possess:
  • Proven experience and proficiency in operating a wide variety of heavy equipment.
  • Strong understanding of GPS systems and how to apply them in construction work.
  • Knowledge of grading plans, elevations, cuts, fills, and other technical aspects of site work.
  • Familiarity with safety regulations and a commitment to enforcing and following them on all projects.
  • Experience working with trench teams, mass grading, and pipe installation.
  • Ability to identify and avoid potential hazards such as wires, pipes, and other underground utilities.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
  • Reliable and punctual, with a strong work ethic and commitment to job success.

  • 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM Onsite
