Heavy Equipment Operator - TGG : Job Details

My grading and paving client is looking for a Heavy Equipment Operator to join their team! They are not looking for anyone who can operate heavy equipment but a Grader (Blade) Operator with the ability to operate GPS finish blades on slopes and subgrades to

support high production.

Responsibilities & Duties:

Operate equipment safely and proficiently in a variety of work environments

Operate heavy equipment in compliance with the company operating safety policies and

procedures

Conduct equipment inspections and complete maintenance inspection reports

Read and understand construction plans/blueprints

Ability to maintain a safe working environment

Education, Experience & Certifications:

2+ years of operating heavy equipment

Proven work commitment record

Personal discipline to work in difficult conditions

Proven commitment to Safety

Qualifications & Skills:

Self-directed person

Safety first approach

Excellent communication and problem solving skills are required

Additional Requirements:

Must have a valid driver license

Ability to work outdoors on a year-round basis
