Heavy Equipment Operator - Energy Transfer, LP : Job Details

The Truck Driver/ Equipment Operator - West Midcon - reports to Construction Supervisor. The position provides support to the work team in defined duties working safely in pipeline repairs, replacements, and fabrications consistent with company policies, procedures, and government regulations. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: - Safely operate a commercial truck to transport materials and equipment to various locations. - Move and tie-down of workpieces, as well as heavy equipment, to and from the work site. - Load and unload materials and equipment, ensuring proper handling and storage. - Operate hand and power tools as required. - Prepare materials and equipment for welding, ensuring the work area is clean and organized and ready for the welding / repair application. - Cleaning the work area after welding and removing excess metal or impurities from the construction site.
