Heavy Equipment Operator - Matrix Service Company : Job Details

Operates a variety of heavy equipment including Cat 308 excavators, front-end loaders, skid-steers, trackhoes, backhoes, excavators, dozers, graders and trenchers. Typical Duties: Actively supports the Company's commitment to safety and its Core Values. Represents the Company at all times with high moral standards while adhering to the Company's Code of Business Conduct and Ethics. Performs loading and unloading of equipment and supplies. Precision positioning of equipment, lifting heavy machinery and components, as well as beams and lumber. Will work in a cab and use pilot operated joystick controls, pedals, levers and buttons to lift, move, and position loads using hoisting attachments, such as hooks, slings, electromagnets, and buckets. Operators will observe load hookup and determine safety of load and inspect and report on crane and hoisting mechanism.
