Heirlooms Donation Intake Coordinator - Montrose32 hours/weekBecome a part of Heirlooms for Hospice and HopeWest in Montrose as the next Heirlooms Intake Coordinator. This position has the unique opportunity to become a team member at one of the most frequented stores in Montrose County. You'll feel good about going to work knowing Heirlooms helps to support the mission of HopeWest-Montrose.We are seeking an individual who can contribute to a team of committed staff and volunteers who transform the cherished items donated by supporters into dollars that make the mission possible. This position has an integral part of the Heirlooms staff by assisting the team with overall store operations and chiefly responsible for the sorting room operations.This unique retail opportunity includes the HopeWest benefits of medical, dental, vision, life insurance, a retirement plan and paid time off. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
  • Maintain safety, organization & flow of donations that come through the back door/garage area
  • Focus is on the back of the store and being the anchor within the Receiving/Sorting area for volunteers
  • Prioritize and delegate the sorting, steaming, ironing and cleaning of items so the retail floor can be restocked each shift
  • Assess and fill the retail floor(clothing)to support sales goals
  • Assess processes in sorting room for ease of operations
  • Train volunteers so there is continuity between shifts
  • Coordinate decisions of items we repurpose, pack and store or pass-on with managers
  • Responsible for maintaining sorting room supplies at adequate levels

Pay and Benefits:
  • Starting hourly pay: $16.00 - $17.00
