Help Desk Specialist ll - Homesteaders Life : Job Details

As a Help Desk Specialist ll, you will provide advanced technical support and ensure smooth operations of our IT Systems. Your role will include technical support, customer service, system maintenance, and collaboration with internal and external customers. Your responsibilities will include:

• Technical Support: Resolve complex technical issues escalated from Tier 1 support; aid with hardware, software, and network-related problems; perform system diagnostics and troubleshooting to identify and fix issues.
• Customer Service: Communicate effectively with users to understand their technical problems; provide timely updates and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction; train and guide Tier 1 technicians in resolving common issues.
• System Maintenance: Maintain and update IT documentation and knowledge base; assist in deploying and configuring new systems and software; monitor system performance and suggest improvements.
• Collaboration: Work closely with other IT teams to resolve complex issues; actively participate in team meetings and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives; escalate unresolved issues to Tier 3 support or relevant teams.

Requirements

• Associate's or bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in a technical support role, preferably in a Tier 2 capacity.
• Strong knowledge of IT systems, networks, and troubleshooting techniques.
• Knowledge of MAC and iOS devices.
• Intune and Azure experience
