Our client, a leader in the investment management industry, is seeking a Help Desk Support II to join their team. As a Help Desk Support II, you will be part of the customer service department supporting the Help Desk team. The ideal candidate will have excellent problem-solving skills, exceptional communication abilities, and a positive, customer-friendly attitude which will align successfully in the organization.Job Title: Help Desk Support IILocation: Owings Mills, MD (Hybrid)Contract: 6-Months (Multiple Shifts Available)Pay Range: $20 - $25/hr W2What's the Job?
  • Provide World Class customer service by expressing empathy and taking ownership of customer issues.
  • Utilize ServiceNow web-based toolsets to search knowledge bases, document calls, and complete requests.
  • Assist in resolving at least 75% of customer issues on the initial phone call and will be able to perform well in a fluctuating pace environment.
  • Participate in initial classroom training and periodic refresher trainings to enhance proficiency.
  • Manage personal needs effectively to maintain punctuality and consistency in attendance.

  • High work ethic with reliable transportation. Because of the critical nature of the role, agents are expected to be punctual and consistent with their work attendance as essential personnel, managing personal needs and navigating weather events to be fully present during agreed upon work hours.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and confidently by phone and in writing.
  • Outstanding customer service skills paired with being a personable and pleasant conversationalist.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
  • Intellectually curious with the ability and eagerness learn new technologies quickly and adapt.
