Help Desk Support Specialist - Staffmark : Job Details

Staffmark is seeking a Help Desk Support Specialist to join our team in Florence, KY working a swing/rotating shift. If you're ready for a fulfilling career in IT support, this could be the perfect role for you!

Pay Rate: $21-$25/hr

Shift:

Monday - Friday, possible overtime on weekends

Swing Shift - Week 1: Days | 6 AM - 2:30 PM

Week 2: Nights | 3 PM - 11:30 PM

Week 3: Days | 6 AM - 2:30 PM

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide support for Zebra RF barcode scanners and specialty thermal transfer printers.
• Handle networking tasks, installation of computer systems, and flat-screen TVs.
• Assist with password resets, multifactor authentication, and troubleshooting Windows 11 and computer peripherals.
• Perform physical tasks including walking, bending, stooping, climbing, and lifting (up to 50 lbs overhead).
• Occasionally climb ladders and assist remote engineers.
• Troubleshoot network issues with standard tools and be flexible with overtime as needed.
• Interact with customers in a personable and approachable manner.
• Operate a pallet jack and adapt to a high-security environment with metal detectors and security turnstiles.

Requirements:

• Experience supporting Zebra RF barcode scanners and thermal transfer printers.
• Proficient in networking, system installation, and Windows 11.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks.
• Experience in a manufacturing setting preferred.
• Comfortable with security protocols and high-security environments.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and flexibility to work overtime.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
