Helpdesk Specialist - Genesis10 : Job Details

Genesis10 is seeking a Helpdesk Specialist for a 12 month contract with our client in St. Paul, MN Must go on site 5 days a week.Job/Project Description: The scope of this project is to refresh field devices, specifically ruggedized laptops (Dell 7330 rugged laptops). This involves replacing older hardware with new devices. The key deliverables and responsibilities for the resource in this role include Device Preparation: Imaging the devices, Configuring the hardware as needed. Loading applications and ensuring the devices are fully operational and ready for deployment. Deployment Coordination: Working with managers to schedule and coordinate the deployment of devices to specific departments. Ensuring the rollout process is smooth and efficient. Collaboration and Support: Collaborating with a lead based in Minnesota who will guide and support them throughout the process. The project is expected to provide consistent work for the resource throughout the year.We have three other resources in Minnesota that primarily work on day-to-day support of those users, but these resources will also get involved in helping coordinate whoever we bring in with the refresh effort then overall. Across all the territories we have 9 resources. This particular resource will support just Minnesota.Standard daytime shift – MN - CST. No OT expected, resources should plan to work 40 hours per week.Required Basic Qualificiations:

• At least 5 years of experience in Deskside support roles
• Strong face to face customer service experience is also required. SCCM (System Center Configuration Manager) experience.
• Hands on experience with laptop/desktop
• Familiarity with working with hardware like laptops.
• Windows 11 OS and ServiceNow experience is strongly preferred.
• Strong communication skills.
• Resource should be self-driven/managed with strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
