JOB DESCRIPTION:Hemodialysis Trainee is the entry-level position for the role of Hemodialysis Technician. The Hemodialysis Trainee initiates, monitors and discontinues outpatient hemodialysis treatments under the supervision of an RN and a preceptor (during the orientation period). The technician trainee has 18 months from hire date to pass the National Hemodialysis Technician Certification Exam.
