What We're Looking For:
- Experienced Estate Planner: Minimum of 5 years of experience in estate planning with business formation experience, specifically for High-Net-Worth-Individuals.
- Licensed in California: Must be currently licensed to practice law in California. Licenses in Nevada, Wyoming, Arizona, Texas, or Florida are a plus.
- Client-Focused: Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships, understand their unique needs and provide effective solutions.
Your Responsibilities:
- Client Consultation: Assess clients' situations, goals, and concerns through detailed consultations while maintaining a high closing rate.
- Professional Collaboration: Collaborate with financial advisors, accountants, and other professionals for comprehensive wealth management.
- Drafting: Draft trusts and other testamentary documents tailored to high-net-worth clients.
- Client Education & Communication: Explain complex legal concepts and provisions of the estate plan to clients in a clear, concise manner. Maintain regular communication with clients to provide updates and manage expectations regarding potential outcomes.
- Continuous Legal Research: Stay ahead of estate and tax laws, and advanced planning and trust techniques.
- High-Net-Worth Planning:
- Tax Strategies: Develop tax-efficient strategies to minimize estate taxes, gift taxes, and other tax liabilities.
- Wealth Preservation: Advise clients on wealth preservation, asset protection strategies, and philanthropic strategies.
- Charitable Giving: Draft, create, and advise clients on charitable trusts and foundations.
- Business Succession: Assist clients with business transfer and succession planning.
- Trust Admin: Oversee the administration of the trust and decedents' estates.
