Duties

Instructional Assignment / Duties

* Biology; Biology II; Environmental Science; General Science

* RtI and MTSS Support;

* Extra-curricular and Coaching opportunities

* Prior teaching experience and/or additional endorsements;

* Strong Reading and Writing instructional strategies

* Knowledge of project-based learning and hands-on learning;

* Technology Integration / one-to-one environment;

* Flipped classroom / eLearning curriculum;

* Small Group Instruction, Differentiation, Data Analysis, Positive Classroom Management;

* Sponsorship/coaching for extra-curricular activities.

Qualifications

* Professional Educator License (PEL) with Life Science / Biology endorsement as required by the Illinois State Board of Education;

* Or Provisional certification with pathway to full licensure.
