Our client is looking for a HIM Technician to join their team in Jacksonville, FL!

Title: HIM Technician

Type: Contract, ongoing

Schedule: Wednesday to Sunday

The HIM Technician performs clerical/technical duties associated with medical records processes and procedures. This could include the retrieval, preparation, scanning, imagining, filing, quality review and indexing of paper documents. The HIM Technician is skilled with operating equipment and with the detailed technical aspects of their assigned duties. Deep understanding of Confidentiality Practices, Hospital Experience Preferred, Sense of Urgency as it pertains to productivity, High Attention to detail, proven ability to multi-task, Ability to follow written and verbal direction, comfortable with fast paced change of priority requirements.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Healthcare Experience
• Medical records experience
• Customer Service
