**JOB OBJECTIVE:** Under the direction of the Site Manager, this position is responsible for assisting with the operations of the museum store and related admissions, customer service and retail for the Washington-on-the-Brazos State Historic Site which includes the Star of the Republic Museum, Barrington Plantation State Historic Site and Fanthorp Inn State Historic Site of the Texas Historical Commission (THC). Work involves stocking, arranging, and transferring inventory; displaying and selling merchandise; greeting visitors; assisting with on-site special events; preparing site for visitation; and monitoring store or warehouse operations for compliance with established security requirements and procedures. Work under general supervision, with limited latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment.
