Home Administrator (All Shifts) Salary Range: $48,000- $60,000, based on experience Shift Windows:
  • 1st Shift from 7a-3p with every other weekend off
  • 2nd Shift from 3p-11p with every other weekend off
  • 3rd Shift from 11p-7a with every third weekend off
WHO WE AREHope is a clinical, educational, and therapeutic provider for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, including Autism Spectrum Disorder. The Hope Residential Academy provides residential placement for children with intellectual and developmental disabilities in thirteen community-based, family-style homes. The Home Administrator supervises and participates in the activities of assigned habilitation specialists/direct support staff, providing monitoring, education, training, and treatment for assigned clients with developmental disabilities. WHAT YOU WILL DO
  • Supervise the implementation of programs and services for clients.
  • Ensure the ongoing health and safety of each client. Guide staff in programming that cultivates the ongoing health, well-being, and self-efficacy of clients.
  • Ensure group schedules are current and incorporate programs and services into schedules.
  • Guide staff in program implementation for clients presenting more challenging problems and behaviors.
  • Supervise and participate as an active multidisciplinary team member, working with others to implement quality therapeutic and habilitative programs for clients. Communicate effectively and efficiently with clinical staff, direct-care staff, and parents/guardians.
WHAT YOU WILL BRING
  • Must be 25 years of age or older, along with one of the following:
  • At least 60 semester hours of college credit in a human services or related field, 2+ years of full-time experience in a residential child care program, demonstrated skill in working with and managing children with Autism Spectrum Disorder and other developmental disabilities, and demonstrated ability to work cooperatively with administration staff and persons external to the program; or
  • Bachelor's degree in social work or related human services field; or
  • 5+ years of supervised experience in a congregate care environment.
  • Knowledge of the causes, nature, and treatment of developmental disabilities.
  • Knowledge of therapeutic techniques, conceptual frameworks, and concepts/principles of behavioral sciences employed when providing therapeutic services.
  • Valid Illinois driver's license and qualification as a DCFS licensed driver.
  • Must be able to lift, push, pull, and carry 50 pounds; must be able to stand, walk, grasp, reach, stoop, crouch, crawl, and run.
WHAT WE PREFER
  • 4+ years of progressively responsible professional experience providing services to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
  • Meet qualifications listed in Section 403.31(c)(1) or (2) or (3) Licensing Standards for Child Care Supervisors. This is acceptable only if approved by the Associate Deputy or designee subsequent to a recommendation from the WETRC. These qualifications are listed below:
    • Must be 25 years of age or older, along with one of the following:
