DescriptionHome Based Home Visitors - Corning: ($17.75-$18.00/hour) Pro Action's Resilient Children and Families programming is seeking applicants for Home Based Home Visitors to serve children and families in the Corning and surrounding areas. Responsibilities of the Home Visitor include recruiting and enrolling eligible children and families from varied backgrounds, providing educational activities for expectant parents, infants, toddlers, and preschool age children in a home setting, supporting family engagement in children's development, and supporting families across various demographics in the goal setting process and accessing additional resources. The ideal candidate will be professional, caring, and compassionate, who understands early childhood development and has a passion for working with children and their families. Excellent communication, organizational and time management skills and flexibility are encouraged.RequirementsHome Visitor positions are full-time, full year. This position requires a minimum of a home-based CDA credential or equivalent coursework as part of an associate or bachelor's degree. Must have a driver's license meeting agency standards and consistent, reliable transportation that will allow regular travel in and around the service area.
