Home Caregiver Gadsden area - Home Instead : Job Details

Caregivers provide a variety of in-home care services for seniors, helping them to stay safe and independent. The Home Instead® network strives to provide compassionate and reliable care services to enable seniors to remain at home. Key Responsibilities as a Caregiver:

• Assist with activities of daily living, including meal preparation, light housekeeping and companionship
• Provide personal care support such as bathing, toileting and incontinence care
• Medication Reminders
• Alzheimers Care
• Meal Preparation
• Incidental transportation

Caregiver Requirements:

• Valid license, auto insurance and reliable vehicle (required if driving clients)
• Compassionate and empathetic nature
• Reliable and dependable
• Must be18 years of age or older
• Ability to treat and care for aging adults and their property with dignity and respect
• Ability to communicate with clients in a friendly and compassionate manner
• Able to pass a criminal background check, motor vehicle record check and drug screen
